Description:

During this 3-day excursion in the Merzouga desert, our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech for an adventure through the magnificent Atlas Mountains and the Tichka pass (2260 m), offering an impressive landscape at the heart of the Atlas chain. We will stop at the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, one of the most spectacular fortresses in southern Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 1: Marrakech, Tizi - N - Tichka, Ait Benhaddou, Ouarzazate, Dades Gorges

Depart from your riad or hotel early in the morning for the High Atlas, crossing the spectacular Tizi n 'Tichka pass to reach the Kasbah of Aït Ben Addou. Visit the Kasbah, have lunch on-site, and continue the excursion to the Merzouga desert via the Ouarzazate road. Visit the Kasbah Taourirte and route to Skoura and the Thousand Kasbahs, crossing the Valley of Roses before reaching the Valley of Dades and the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. Then continue to the Dades Gorges and stay overnight in a beautiful riad on a half-board basis.

Day 2: Dades Gorges, Todra Gorges, Erfoud, Merzouga

After breakfast, depart for the Merzouga desert via the Todra Gorges, where you will have free time to walk in the gorges. Then continue to the Tafilalet palm grove and the town of Erfoud. After lunch, we will continue to the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you will enjoy a camel ride to admire the sunset.

Spend the night in a Berber tent in the middle of the dunes and enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

After the sumptuous sunrise, participate in a typical breakfast and return on camelback to Merzouga. Continue the road to Marrakech and cross the Berber villages of the High Atlas. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, and this is the end of your excursion.

Admire the magnificent landscapes of the Sahara, oases, palm groves, and green valleys... Return to Marrakech.
