Ouarzazate is a city located in the middle of the desert in the south of the Kingdom, with a variety of elusive decorations such as burning sand, snow-capped peaks, green oases and palm groves, haughty ksours, fortified villages, and sumptuous kasbahs. This city is all the idyllic charm of a city from another millennium.

Two magnificent kasbahs hang the traveler dazzled by so much beauty: Taourirt and Aït Ben Haddou, located 30 km from the city. UNESCO has inscribed these two kasbahs on the world heritage list. In Ouarzazate, you can stay in splendid and luxurious hotels before venturing into the desert where all kinds of sensations enhance the trip.

Day 1: Marrakech - Kasbah of Telouet - Ait Ben Haddou:

Depart in the morning from your hotel in Marrakech in an air-conditioned vehicle and head to Ouarzazate. Admire the majestic Moroccan landscape and the small multi-level villages as you climb in the High Atlas through the winding pass of Tizi n'Tichka. Continue on the winding road to the Kasbah of Telouet, the ancestral residence of the Pasha Glaoui of Marrakech. Enjoy a quiet lunch at the historic kasbah (at your own expense), then cross the Telouet trail, which was once a commercial route linking sub-Saharan Africa to Marrakech.

Once you reach the beautiful red and green olive groves of the hidden Ounila valley, discover the Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Watch a magnificent sunset from the top of the kasbah tower before sitting down to dinner and checking into your hotel.

Day 2: Aït Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Fint Oasis - Marrakech:

Have breakfast and then return to your air-conditioned vehicle to go to Ouarzazate, the site where movies such as Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and Gladiator were filmed. Enjoy the panoramic view and visit the ancient Kasbah of Taourirt, another UNESCO World Heritage site, and home to two film studios and the Cinema Museum. Explore the studios and continue to Fint Oasis, a beautiful palm grove made up of four traditional Berber villages. Visit a Berber house and taste Moroccan mint tea. Sit down for lunch (at your own expense) and return to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
